Rosetta Solutions .epub Files Now Available

Seattle, WA, January 2, 2007 – Rosetta Solutions, Inc., a leading global publishing services company, today announced full compliance with the International Digital Publishing Forum’s (IDPF) .epub format standard for digital books. Using .epub allows publishers to produce and send a single file through distribution and offers consumers interoperability between software/hardware for digital books.

 Using Rosetta Solutions’ patent pending RosettaMachine technology, publishers can convert a single master file to multiple digital and print-ready formats accompanied by industry-standard metadata.

 Many solutions providers have implemented or announced implementation plans for .epub, including Adobe, Sony Reader, eBook Technologies, Mobipocket, OSoft and Vitalsource Technologies.  The file extension ".epub" refers to two open standards, the Open Publication Structure (OPS) and Open Container Format (OCF), produced by the IDPF.
